The New Building is Completed
An historical event in the
life of St. Augustine’s occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2008. On that day, in spite of bitter cold
temperatures, the congregation broke ground for the new Church building to be
constructed at 2140 SW Hodges Road, West of Topeka. Now, the construction is complete. The congregation moved into the new building
on July 25, 2009, with the first service held in it on July 26. The Church building was dedicated on August
29, 2009, with Bishop Strawn officiating.

12/14/2008 – Groundbreaking Service for New Building
Father Parks turns the first shovel of dirt at
the location where the Church Altar will be located, while acolyte John Knecht
follows along in the service.
