SUMMONS TO SYNOD

W e, STEPHEN DUANE STRAWN, by Divine Permission Bishop of the Missouri Valley, acting pursuant to the provisions of Canon 13.1 of the Canons of this Diocese, do hereby issue this our Writ of Summons to the Clerical Delegates canonically resident herein and to the Lay Delegates of the congregations in union with this Diocese, summoning them to come to the national shrine of our lady of the snows, in the CITY Of belleville, Illinois, on tuesday the 8th Day of June, 2010, where at 7:30 a.M. on that date, beginning with the MORNING PRAYER and mass, and continuing through Thursday the 10th day of june, 2010 they will be convened FOR THE Synod of this Diocese for the right-ordering, good government, and well-being of the Church.
