Welcome to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church

We currently meet in the Campus Center Shopping Center at 1332 SW 17^th Street, in Topeka, Kansas. This is diagonally across the street from Washburn University at 17^th and Washburn Avenue next to the “Great Wall.”

We are a member of the Anglican Church in America and the Traditional Anglican Communion. St. Augustine’s in NOT affiliated in any way with The Episcopal Church (TEC), formerly the Episcopal Church USA (ECUSA).

We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and the 1940 Hymnal at our services. We hold to the traditional truths all things necessary for salvation are contained in Holy Scripture.

St. Augustine’s was founded in 1985 as an Anglican church, maintaining the traditional Christian values of the Anglican church. Over the years, the congregation has met in several different temporary locations, before our current site. In 2001, the congregation acquired land in anticipation of building our permanent church, and in 2007, St. Augustine’s Anglican Church will begin construction on a new facility at site located in the 2100 block of SW Hodges Road.
